Dak Nong will host the 20th International Symposium on Vulcanospeology. The lava-tube cave system in Dak Nong Province (particularly in the Dak Nong UNESCO Global Geopark) is a geological heritage of international value. Therefore, hosting the 20th ISV is a good opportunity for the province to effectively introduce and promote this unique geo-heritage to international friends. At the same time, advancing the scientific exploration and study on caves, which contributes to the conservation and effective exploitation of the local heritage of international value.
