The 3rd Asia-Pacific Geoparks Network Jeju Symposium “For the Innovation of the APGN”, which is going to be held from September 7 to 13, 2013 at Jeju KAL Hotel, Jeju, Korea.
Jeju's distinctive worldwide beauty has been recognized with UNESCO Bio Sphere Reserve (2002), UNESCO Natural Heritage Site (2007) and Global Geoparks Network (2010), and Jeju has been a test bed for various UNESCO programs. The 3rd Asia-Pacific Geoparks Network Jeju Symposium is an excellent venue for sustainable developments, conserving and utilizing environments effectively with newer paradigm of coexistence among human and environment.
The 3rd Asia-Pacific Geoparks Network Jeju Symposium will comprise thematic oral sessions with guest speakers, selected oral presentations and poster sessions related to the main aims, as well as, symposium fieldtrips at the Jeju Island Geoparks.
