Recently, the Management Committee of Wudalianchi Geopark organized a summer camp for primary and secondary students in order to acquaint more primary and secondary students living in Wudalianchi Geopark with the volcanic geology and topography there and enrich their knowledge of volcanoes.
The “Green Summer Camp of Scientific Expedition” that was undertaken by the Management Committee as of Aug 1 is an elaborate gift for youths’ summer holiday. The unique volcanic geology and topography, the precious volcanic resources, the rare fumarolic dishes and cones and other sights catch attention. Wudalianchi Geopark is the world of volcanoes as well as the realm of lavas. The fluctuant aa lava sea (Fanhua Rock Sea in Chinese) allows endless imagination, enabling people to have a full taste of the grandness and majesty of nature.
