'A World of Science' is UNESCO's quarterly science journal. It was launched in October 2002 'to keep UNESCO's concerns in the public eye and at the centre of public debate by making information easily available and attractive.' Walter Erdelen, Assistant Director-General for Natural Sciences, is the director of Publication.
A World of Science is published in January, April, July and October each year and distributed widely in 193 countries. It is published in English, French, Malay, Russian and Spanish.
Individuals and institutions may subscribe for free to the printed or online version.
