This year's Northern Rocks - the North Pennines Festival of Geology and Landscape - is jam-packed with exciting events, many of them new activities in the programme.
Running from 23 May to 7 June, and celebrating European Geopark Week, there are events for all ages to get involved in, including themed walks, bus tours, children's activities and 'taster' sessions.
