The Coordination Committee of the European Geoparks Network has accepted two new members to the European Geoparks Network at its meeting in Naturtejo Geopark, Portugal, September 2009. (One Geopark has left the Network.) This brings the Global Geopark Network members up to 64 and 19 countries. New members will be formally endorsed by the International Geoparks Conference in Langkawi coming up in April 2010, Malaysia.
