The works of design and planning of conservation actions and enhancement of geodiversity in the province of Córdoba has been completed with the drafting of three works projects that involve the intervention in eight localities of geological interest.

The projects are framed in the context of the Program of Actions on Geological Resources of Andalusia, a regional initiative which aims: firstly to provide a system of interpretation of geological heritage in the Andalusia area and, secondly, to undertake conservation measures, protection and environmental improvement of the most representative landmarks of the geology of Andalusia.

It is also planned the intervention in three localities of the province: the Baths of Popea and the Loma de los Escalones, near the city of Cordoba and the Incised Meander of Guadalquivir River in its passage through the municipality of Montoro.
