Global E-Classroom is one of our innovative programmes using the internet to enable presenters to give real-time presentations to teachers, students and geopark staff in different regions, usually at geopark venues or geosites.

On 21 and 22 May 2013, two E- Classroom sessions were conducted for the students of the University of Geosciences (Beijing). One session conducted at High Island Geo Trail presented the magnificent acidic volcanic columns of Hong Kong Geopark to the students in Beijing. During the other session three staff in Hong Kong shared the actual work of Hong Kong Geopark. Both sessions aroused the students' interest in and understanding of the geology and management of Hong Kong Geopark.
